The Components of the Gonstead Method

Every one of us is uniquely designed, right down to the cells that make up our bodies — so when it comes to your adjustment, one size definitely doesn't fit all. That's why we use the Gonstead System. Through visualization, instrumentation, palpation, X-ray, and your own symptoms, we're able to pinpoint the exact area that needs attention.

When all of these pieces line up, we can give you a truly specific adjustment — and the more specific the adjustment, the more meaningful the change we see in your health. No cookie-cutter approach, no guesswork. Your health deserves nothing less than a thorough, in-depth approach.

We're proud to be Whitefish's only exclusively Gonstead chiropractic clinic, dedicated to providing the highest quality of care possible. Through our in-depth, nervous system focused analysis, you and your loved ones can feel confident you're getting care built around exactly what your body needs.

Every person deserves the chance to function at their fullest, so you're free to enjoy the things you were made to do. That's our mission with every person we meet and every adjustment we give — to help you live fully, without fear or restriction.

What is Nervous System Focused Chiropractic Care?

Each of us is uniquely designed, right down to the very cells that make us who we are — so when it comes to your adjustment, one size doesn't fit all. Your body is also beautifully and intelligently designed to heal itself. Our goal is to find exactly where nerve pressure exists in your spine through careful chiropractic analysis. When a nearby bone or disc puts pressure and inflammation on a nerve, that nerve can't function the way it's meant to.

Since our nerves control every function in the body — not just muscles and joints, but our digestive organs, reproductive system, thyroid, bladder, even our heart and lungs — that pressure can ripple outward in ways you might not expect. Your organs are designed to work best free of interference, which is often exactly where symptoms begin.

While we don't chase symptoms, they're incredibly helpful clues in figuring out exactly where the disconnect is between your brain and body. Our goal with every analysis is to locate the precise areas of nerve pressure and gently release them through a specific chiropractic adjustment — restoring function and letting your body's healing process begin.

What to Expect

First Visit

At your initial consultation, we'll take the time to really understand your personal health history and everything that's contributing to how you feel. Paired with a thorough exam and full spine digital X-rays, this gives us the complete picture we need to provide the most personalized chiropractic care possible.

Second Visit

At your next visit, we'll walk you through your personalized report of findings, connecting what we see in your X-rays to what's actually going on with your health. We'll explain everything clearly, connect the dots together, and build a plan forward that's guiding you toward better health and function. From there, you'll receive your first adjustment, based on your complete analysis.

Subsequent Visits

Every visit, we re-analyze and adjust specifically based on your progress and the changes we're seeing. There's no cookie-cutter care here — each visit is tailored to exactly where you are that day. By understanding your daily habits and goals, we're able to offer further recommendations for small tweaks outside the office, helping you get even more out of your healing journey.
